Perini Corporation Wins No. 1 Ranking in the Boston Globe's Annual Globe 100 List of Best Performing Companies

Perini in Top Spot for Second Consecutive Year
FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(Business Wire)--
Perini Corporation (NYSE: PCR) announced today that for the second
consecutive year it was ranked first among "Top 100"
Massachusetts-based publicly traded companies by the Boston Globe in
its annual "Globe 100" listing released today. Perini is only the
second company to receive the Globe's first-place ranking two years in
a row.

In February, Perini announced record 2007 revenues of $4.6
billion, a 52% increase over 2006 and record net income of $97.1
million, a 134% increase over 2006.

In the Globe, Perini was ranked first in overall performance. The
overall ranking was determined by comparing 2006 financial data with
corresponding 2007 data in four specific categories.
