visionapp Announces Market's First End-to-End Virtualized Application Delivery

HOUSTON, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- visionapp AG, the innovative leaders in
application delivery management, today announced the world's first end-to-end
virtualized application delivery infrastructure management system at Citrix
Synergy(TM) 2008. Called the "One Solution Strategy," the system is based on
the industry-leading visionapp Application Delivery Management suite (vADM)
and supports Microsoft and Citrix-based technologies.
visionapp is showcasing the One Solution Strategy in Booth 207 at Citrix
Synergy 2008, held May 20 through May 23 at the George R. Brown Convention
Center in Houston. The One Solution Strategy includes a preview of features
available in vADM 2008 Release 2, including support for the lifecycle
management of hosted desktops with Citrix XenDesktop(TM), the automated
creation and management of images for Citrix Provisioning Server(TM), and
support for the next version of Citrix XenApp(TM).
One Build, One Desktop, One Solution
The components of vADM 2008 underscore the complete One Solution Strategy.
visionapp Server Management (vSM) allows IT departments to create and
manage servers with a high degree of automation, and the ability to enforce a
methodology. This "One Build" strategy is crucial for reporting and
compliance, but most importantly vSM gives companies a high degree of
confidence in the stability and consistency of their servers. The next release
adds the ability to manage hosted desktops in addition to servers.
visionapp Workspace Management (vWM) provides users a consistent
experience when accessing applications, no matter how the applications are
delivered (Citrix-published, Microsoft-published, Web-based, streamed, or
local) or where the user is located (work, home, or remote). The "One Desktop"
