Parasoft Vows to Lead Agitar Customers to the Next-Generation of
Software Quality
MONROVIA, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Parasoft, the leading provider of solutions and services that
deliver quality as a continuous process throughout the Software
Development Lifecycle (SDLC), announced today an Agitar Amnesty
Program. In response to the recent notice of assignment to Agitar's
creditors, Parasoft now offers all Agitar customers a special program
to expand from Agitar's unit testing tool into Parasoft's Application
Development Quality Solution, which establishes a continuous quality
process that ensures software verification methods are ingrained into
the workflow across every stage of the SDLC. Agitar users will be able
to trade-up their current licenses for the Parasoft Application
Quality Solution. This program begins May 20, 2008 and ends on August
15, 2008.
"Parasoft helps development organizations deliver better software,
faster. Among the practices that Parasoft automates to achieve this
goal is unit testing. Agitar's participation in the unit testing
market has educated many development organizations on the value of
this quality practice," stated Wayne Ariola, VP of Strategy for
Parasoft. "To support organizations that have invested in automated
unit testing, Parasoft is offering an amnesty program that not only
allows Agitar customers to advance the automation of their quality
practices with the Parasoft Application Development Quality Solution,
but also mitigates the potential financial penalty for the switch."
For 20 years, Parasoft has been empowering organizations to
deliver better business applications faster. One of Parasoft's premier
capabilities is its complete framework to create, manage, and extract
greater value from unit tests. Other capabilities include quality
policy management, code analysis, code review, message/protocol
testing, functional testing, business process testing, and load
testing. Parasoft solutions featuring such capabilities result in a
sustainable process that delivers greater productivity and
significantly fewer software defects.
