Philadelphia Nonprofit Center Presents Nonprofit Consultant Peter Brinckerhoff to Help Nonprofits Tackle the Problem of Increased Competition and Less Trust

PHILADELPHIA--(Business Wire)--
With increased competition among nonprofits in an environment of
eroding public trust, nonprofit organizations are struggling more than
ever to safeguard their missions.

The Nonprofit Center at Philadelphia's La Salle University School
of Business, presents nonprofit expert Peter Brinckerhoff and his
concept of nonprofit organizations as mission-based businesses, to
keynote its 2008 Nonprofit Strategies Forum on June 3 at the Hub Cira
Center in Philadelphia.

Brinckerhoff will explain how his model of nonprofit leadership is
designed to keep nonprofit organizations focused on their missions.
Among the topics he will address are investing in your nonprofit
organization's mission, how to support your nonprofit mission with
stewardship, how focusing on your mission can change the way you make
decisions, and how increased competition and demand for transparency
in nonprofit organizations demands strong mission-based leadership.

Each year, The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University's School of
Business, brings the Delaware Valley's nonprofit organizations
together at its annual forum to discuss key issues impacting the
nonprofit sector. For information about Peter Brinckerhoff's
