TORONTO, ONTARIO, May 20 (MARKET WIRE) --
Asia Now Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE: NOW) is pleased to announce that
the geological mapping has recently been completed and drilling has
resumed at the Habo porphyry copper-gold property in Yunnan, China. The
Company plans to drill 10,000 meters at Habo in 2008 for the next phase
of exploration.

Detailed geological mapping was carried out following the recommendation
by Dr. Anthony Harris, an Australian expert on porphyry copper ore
deposits. Through this program, the alteration and mineralization zones
have been outlined for the large (2,500 meter long by 1,300 meter wide)
porphyry copper-gold system, and two mineralized breccia pipes, which are
found in many porphyry copper ore deposits of the world, have been
identified at Habo South. Those two breccia pipes are typically altered
and contain oxidized sulphides, which may be indicative of mineralization
zones underneath. Surface samples taken from the breccia pipes have been
sent for analysis.

Based on mapping, potential high-grade zones have been outlined and
drilling sites have been located. To more efficiently test the
mineralization zones, an experienced drilling party (not easily found in
China) has been retained for angled drilling. One drilling rig has been
moved to the site, and will start drilling within one week. Another
drilling rig will be added shortly. As previously reported, a 10,000
metre drilling program has been planned to define the high grade zones at
Habo South, as identified from the completed mapping program and the
consultant's report. In addition, tunnelling and initial drilling
programs will be started to test the porphyry mineralization system at
Habo North.

"After a comprehensive data compilation and the detailed geological
mapping, "said Kaihui Yang, the Company's President, "our drilling
programs are underway again, aimed to define high-grade zones in the
porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum systems of the Habo property."

    QUALITY CONTROL AND QUALIFIED PERSON

Quality control and assurance programs are implemented in accordance with
the standards of National Instrument 43-101, as described the independent
43-101 report filed on www.sedar.ca. Exploration and financial controls
are implemented in each of the company's exploration projects in China,
as published on the website of the Company, www.asianow.ca. Exploration
on all of the Company's projects is conducted under the direction of Dr.
Noel C. White, a director and consultant to the Company and a Qualified
Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101. Dr. White has read
and approved this news release. Disclosure on mineralization on adjacent
properties has not been verified by Dr. White and is not necessarily
indicative of the Company's anticipated results. Where provided,
potential quantity and grade is conceptual in nature as the Company has
not conducted sufficient exploration to define a mineral resource and it
is uncertain if further exploration will result in the target being
delineated as a mineral resource.
