MassMutual Hosts 2-Day Conference in Support of Its TPA Alliance

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- MassMutual's Retirement
Services Division hosted its 2008 TPA Conference at the PGA National Resort
and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., May 14 - 16. The theme of the conference,
"Taking Your Practice to the Next Level with MassMutual," captures
MassMutual's commitment to its select network of Third Party Administrators,
and the significant investment the company is making in the TPA market.
Elaine Sarsynski, executive vice president of MassMutual's Retirement
Services Division and chairman, president and CEO of MassMutual International
LLC, delivered the keynote address and strategic outlook. "The 401(k) market
opportunity for TPAs has more than doubled in the past 15 years, which is a
testament to the value TPAs bring to their clients. MassMutual also recognizes
this value and we are investing additional resources to help TPAs capitalize
on the growth opportunity," said Sarsynski.
Hugh O'Toole, senior vice president of national sales and distribution,
reiterated MassMutual's support of the TPA channel. "Our recordkeeping

Paul Steven Henry, vice president of product development, announced
MassMutual's planned third quarter introduction of a new registered product

president of 401kExchange, who discussed the importance of the advisor
relationship in helping TPAs grow their business, and Joshua Dietch, managing
director for Chatham Partners, who discussed trends in the 401(k) industry.
