Atlantix Global Systems and Southland Companies Finalize Merger All Accounting and Inventory Systems Have Been Integrated

Southlands' Fourteen Years of Telecom Experience Allows Atlantix
to Take Another Step towards Being the Leader in IT Life Cycle
NORCROSS, Ga.--(Business Wire)--
Over the past year, Atlantix and Southland Companies have been
working together to finalize a merger that will support Atlantix
Global Systems' goal of becoming the leader in the IT life cycle
management process. The Southland Companies: AO Communications, GTS,
and Phoenix Asset Management, have over fourteen years of experience
in the telecom industry. All three companies have covered the nation
in distribution of products in the broker and end-user markets.

Atlantix Global Systems www.atlantixglobal.com is the largest
privately-held technology asset recovery company in the world. With
over 30 years of experience, $30 million in inventory and servicing
over 80 countries, Atlantix is on track to fulfilling a vision that
management is passionate about implementing.

Once the two parties joined forces in January of 2008, management
has changed, sales strategies have been implemented and product
development has increased. "This is just another step in our overall
plan. It is nice to see that we have the leadership to integrate four
companies into one main brand," stated Brian H. Glahn, Senior Vice
President for Atlantix Global Systems. As of May 1, all Southland
companies will operate under Atlantix Global Systems. Atlantix's main
concern throughout this merger was to maintain the level of service
that existing customers have been accustomed to. Companies
experiencing a merger can really benefit or sink as a result of not
paying attention to inventory and accounting systems. "We value the
relationships we have with our customers. If we take operations for
granted we would be naive. We know that unpleasant experiences in
accounting and product delivery can tarnish a relationship with a
customer," said John O'Hara, President of Atlantix Global Systems.

Atlantix has implemented a number of changes that will increase
their chances of gaining market share in 2009. Now that the accounting
and inventory systems has been integrated, Atlantix will be able to
maximize their two new warehouse locations in Jackson, MS and Brooklyn
Park, Minnesota.

Atlantix Global Systems specializes in Cisco, Dell,
Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Sun Microsystems and a variety of storage and
telecom solutions. Atlantix offers rental, leasing, professional
services, asset recovery, consignment, and customer warranty and
maintenance options. Atlantix Global Systems' $210 million in revenue
reinforces their ability to combine hardware and services into one IT
life cycle experience for their customers.
