SEOUL (Reuters) - ABN AMRO has appointed as branch manager and CEO of its South Korean operations the country head of Royal Bank of Scotland's (RBS.L) global banking and markets, the Dutch firm said on Tuesday.

The announcement is part of an integration process after RBS bought parts of ABN last year.

Before taking on the new role, Suk Yoon Choi managed all aspects of RBS' business in South Korea. He had been a country manager of Barclays Capital and co-head of Credit Suisse' (CSGN.VX) South Korean business, according to ABN's statement.

Choi reports to Michiel de Jong, ABN AMRO's CEO for Asia.

In India, RBS has named three bankers from the Dutch bank to key roles in its corporate finance team.
