Total starts production at North Sea's Jura field

PARIS May 20 (Reuters) - Total (TOTF.PA) said on Tuesday it had started production at its Jura gas and condensate field in the North Sea, one of the French oil major's key projects to achieve its 2006-2010 hydrocarbon production growth target.
On Friday, Total Chief Executive Christophe de Margerie had said that production at the 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent field would start very soon.
