U.S. Treasury balances at Fed fell on May 19

 WASHINGTON, May 20 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury balances at
the Federal Reserve, based on the Treasury Department's latest
budget statement (billions of dollars, except where noted):

 National debt

 The statutory debt limit is $9.815 trillion.
 The Treasury said it issued $192 million in individual
income tax refunds, including $172 million in tax rebate
payments issued under the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008. It
issued $28 million in corporate income tax refunds.
