TORONTO May 22 (Reuters) - Manitoba Telecom Services (MBT.TO), the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Blackstone Capital Partners (BX.N) said on Thursday they have dissolved the consortium they had formed to bid on airwaves in an upcoming government auction of wireless spectrum.

Manitoba Telecom Chief Executive Pierre Blouin said the group could not reach agreement on a "handful of key issues," but added his company remains qualified to bid as a new wireless entrant in the auction slated to begin later this month.
