Antam raises offer for Australia's Herald Resources
SYDNEY, June 3 |
SYDNEY, June 3 (Reuters) - Indonesian miner PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) (ANTM.JK) and its partner, China's Shenzhen Zhongjin Lingnan Nonfemet Co Ltd 000060.SZ, have raised their offer for Australian-listed Herald Resources Ltd HER.AX to $2.60-A$2.65 per share, Herald said in a statement on Tuesday.
The board of Herald has recommended the higher offer. ($1=A$1.05) (Reporting by Denny Thomas)
