NEW YORK, June 3 (Reuters) - The dollar extended gains versus the yen on Tuesday after Lehman Brothers LEH.N said it did not access the Federal Reserve's discount window for funding.

The dollar traded up 0.5 percent at 104.95 yen JPY=. Reports that Lehman might have to raise more capital had pressured U.S. stocks, pulling the dollar from session highs around 105.56 yen.

Lehman said it did not access the Fed's discount window on Tuesday and that it "finished the second quarter well above $40 billion" in liquidity.
