Apache: Australia gas sales at least 2 months away

VARANUS ISLAND, Australia, June 6 (Reuters) - Apache Corp (APA.N) said on Friday it would be at least two months before it could resume partial gas sales from its west Australian gas plant, after an explosion earlier in the week.

"We shall have partial sales in a couple of months," Tim Wall, Managing Director of Apache Energy, the Australian arm of Apache, told reporters on a visit to the facility.

"There is quite a bit of damage."
