Shumate Industries Announces Plans to Pursue Strategic Options, Including the
Potential Sale of Shumate Machine Works
CONROE, Texas, June 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Shumate Industries
(OTC Bulletin Board: SHMT) announced today that the Company's Board of
Directors has directed management to pursue certain strategic options,
including the potential divestiture of its Shumate Machine Works (SMW)
subsidiary.
As a 30,000 square foot oilfield machining and manufacturing company
located in Conroe Texas, SMW had revenues of approximately $8 million last
year with about 38 employees.
