Launches First Series of Fully UL Certified Flat Panel Carts and
Two Cost-Effective Lines of AV Cart Retrofit Kits; Demonstrates
Complete AV Furniture Solutions
CHICAGO--(Business Wire)--
Bretford Manufacturing, Inc. (InfoComm Booth #N5841), a leading
supplier of technology and media furniture that improves how people
work and learn, will focus on AV furniture safety and sustainability
in its booth during InfoComm 08, June 18-20 in Las Vegas, NV. To
exemplify these points, Bretford is unveiling the new FPBBUL Series of
high-safety wide body flat panel carts, along with two new
cost-effective lines of Retrofit Kits for Bretford-branded AV and CRT
television carts. Booth visitors can also expect to see a complete
line-up of application-focused AV furniture solutions from Bretford,
receive a demonstration of the company's new partner extranet site,
and learn more about Bretford's GREENGUARD-certified products and
other environmental milestones.
Bretford's 20-by-40-foot booth space will feature market-specific
vignettes depicting education, corporate, government and retail
environments. The vignettes will illustrate how Bretford's
comprehensive AV furniture offering - mounts, tables, carts, lecterns,
workstations and more - can be used together to complete a room. When
combined with endless design colors and finishes, and continuous
product training and support, Bretford allows AV resellers to
ultimately streamline purchases and maximize profits.
FPBBUL Series Wide Body Flat Panel Carts
The new FPBBUL Series of wide body flat panel carts safely holds
and transports any size LCD and plasma display weighing up to 85 lbs.
The carts offer the most complete range of safety features available.
Each full cart (not just the electrical components) is certified to
comply with UL standard 1667 for tall institutional carts. They
feature a wide body design and two fixed casters for added monitor
stability, and include a top shelf handle for easy control during
transit. The carts have passed a 10-degree incline stability test in
order to significantly reduce tipping; they are also load tested to
four times the intended weight to ensure a secure platform and long
product life.
2642NSKIT and BB Wide Body Cart Retrofit Kits
Bretford introduced some of the industry's first mobile carts back
in the 1960s and thanks to the new retrofit kits, carts that are
decades old can now continue to be used safely and cost-effectively.
The 2642NSKIT retrofit kit is for Bretford's adjustable A2642/CA2642
AV carts, originally designed for reel-to-reel and slide projectors.
It includes a pullout notebook shelf to make it more functional and to
provide educators greater interaction with such technology products as
laptops and projectors. The new BB Wide Body Cart Retrofit Kits allow
schools to convert BB Series CRT-style TV carts from Bretford for use
with today's flat panels without having to purchase a new cart. This
kit replaces the existing top shelf with a reinforced steel shelf that
accommodates the new weight distribution and will not deform or tear.
Both kits reduce the amount of materials and energy required during
the manufacturing process, not to mention their original shelf is 100
percent steel, which is the No. 1 recyclable material today.
BretfordCommons Extranet Site
Launched earlier this year, BretfordCommons
(www.bretfordcommons.com), the company's new partner extranet site,
provides confidential and customized access to product training
modules, sales and marketing tools, and up-to-the-minute order
communication. BretfordCommons demonstrations will take place in the
booth, giving resellers a firsthand opportunity to view the site, ask
questions and register as a member.
