Makes it Easy for Attendees to Keep Track of Array of Events
Happening Next Week at DAC
BOULDER, Colo.--(Business Wire)--
The 45th Design Automation Conference (DAC), the premier event of
the electronic design automation industry, is offering a mobile
version of the DAC Web site for the second consecutive year. DAC's
mobile Web site allows attendees, exhibitors and participants
convenient access to conference information via their mobile phones.
The 45th DAC will take place June 8 - 13, 2008, at the Anaheim
Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
The DAC mobile Web site contains information on all aspects of the
conference, from a complete list of exhibitors and their booth
numbers, to a day-by-day listing of technical sessions, workshops,
events, and meetings. In addition, visitors can utilize the local
information section for local hotel, transportation and restaurant
information with hot links to phone numbers and maps. The site is
accessible at http://dacmobile.mobi/. Visitors can also access the
mobile site from a link in the upper left corner of the DAC homepage.
"We received so much positive feedback from last year's debut of
the mobile Web site we knew it would become an expected part of the
conference," said Limor Fix, general chair, 45th DAC Executive
Committee. "Each year we become more and more accustomed to having
information at our fingertips, and now it is easy for everyone to get
the details on everything that's happening while they are at DAC."
The mobile Web site will help conference participants to keep
track of everything going on during DAC. This year the schedule
includes even more with the new Exhibitor Forum, the Best of DAC
Awards, a number of collocated events and 14 workshops happening
during or around the conference.
Registration
Online registration is available until June 12, and onsite
registration is available at the Anaheim Convention Center beginning
Sunday, June 8, and throughout the conference. Exhibit Only
registration is free on Monday, June 9, and an Exhibits Only access
pass for all days, Monday through Thursday, is $65.
About DAC
The Design Automation Conference (DAC) is recognized as the
premier event for the design of electronic circuits and systems, and
for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and silicon solutions. A
diverse worldwide community representing more than 1,500 organizations
attends each year, from system designers and architects, logic and
circuit designers, validation engineers, CAD managers, senior managers
and executives to researchers and academicians from leading
universities. Close to 60 technical sessions selected by a committee
of electronic design experts offer information on recent developments
and trends, management practices and new products, methodologies and
technologies. A highlight is its Exhibition and Suite area, with
approximately 250 of the leading and emerging EDA, silicon and IP
providers. The conference is sponsored by the Association for
Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Design Automation
(ACM/SIGDA), the Circuits and Systems Society and Council on
Electronic Design Automation of the Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers (IEEE/CASS/CEDA) and the Electronic Design
Automation Consortium (EDA Consortium). More details are available at:
