BREMBO: Mauro Pessi joins the Brembo Board of Directors and is appointed Managing Director

STEZZANO, ITALY, Jun 06 (MARKET WIRE) --
Following the consensual exit of the former Managing Director Stefano
Monetini on May 20th 2008, the Board of Directors, chaired by Alberto
Bombassei, met today and offered Mauro Pessi a seat on the Board of
Brembo S.p.A., then appointed him Managing Director and invested him with
the relative powers attached to the post.

Mauro Pessi holds a business administration degree from Bocconi
University and comes to Brembo from Pirelli Pneumatici S.p.A., the
organization with which he has spent his entire professional career to
date, having started in product marketing and filled various posts in the
company, including spells as director of OE and aftermarket sales for
different areas (Italy, Europe and the United States). For the two years
before joining Brembo, he was CEO of Pirelli South America.

Mauro Pessi leaves Pirelli by mutual agreement with the Group's top
management and returns to Europe to take on a new professional challenge.
