U.S. Bank Wealth Management Group Names Michael Boardman Central Region President and Twin Cities Market Leader

MINNEAPOLIS--(Business Wire)--
Michael Boardman has been named Central region president and Twin
Cities market leader for the U.S. Bank Wealth Management Group. He
reports directly to Mark Jordahl, president of the U.S. Bank Wealth
Management Group.

   "Michael brings great depth and experience to the U.S. Bank Wealth
Management Group, which will be instrumental in building and growing
the bank's wealth management business in the Twin Cities and overall
Central region," said Jordahl.

   The Central region comprises Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota,
Nebraska and Iowa.

   Boardman is also a dedicated member of the Twin Cities community
through his contributions as a member of the Minneapolis Institute of
Art's board of directors, the Minneapolis Club's board of governors,
as vice chairman of the Guthrie Theater Business Council and as a
member of the board of trustees of the Blake School. He is also a
youth hockey coach.

   Previously, Boardman held senior wealth management positions at
U.S. Trust Company, Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and Chase Manhattan
Corp. Most recently he was market executive and regional chief
executive officer at U.S. Trust Company in Minneapolis.

   Boardman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College
in Vermont, and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia
University in New York City.

   Boardman works at U.S. Bank's corporate headquarters at 800
Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. He resides in the Twin Cities
area with his wife and three children.
