AAA New Mexico's Weekend Gas Watch

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, Jun 06 (MARKET WIRE) --
New Mexico's gasoline price average has risen one-tenth of a cent in the
last week, and the national average is up 2.4 cents during the same period,
according to the AAA New Mexico Weekend Gas Watch.

The New Mexico average for a gallon of regular gasoline is $3.901. That
isone-tenth of a penny more than last week, even though the reporting areas
actually went down a cent or two. New Mexico's current gasoline price is
56.3 cents more than on this date last year. The national average of $3.986
is 2.4 cents more than last week and 85.5 cents more than last year.

"New Mexico drivers appear to be getting a small price break even as
priceshave continued to go up across the country," said New Mexico's spokesman
Dan Ronan.

New Mexico has the fifteenth lowest gas price average in the nation. South
Carolina has the lowest statewide average of $3.787 per gallon, while
California ranks the highest average of $4.398 per gallon.
