JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia & HUNT VALLEY, Md.--(Business Wire)--
Cristal Global (Cristal) announced today that it will increase
prices on all of its anatase and rutile Tiona(R) and Cristal titanium
dioxide (TiO2) products sold in the Europe region by EUR 50 per metric
ton on July 1, 2008, or as contracts allow.

These price increases are required to partially offset the
unprecedented increases in raw material, energy and transportation
costs which have severely impacted the profitability and
sustainability of the TiO2 business.

These increases are in addition to previously announced price
increases.

Cristal Global is the world's second-largest producer of titanium
dioxide and a leading producer of titanium chemicals. Cristal Global
operates eight manufacturing plants in six countries on five
continents and employs more than 3,500 people worldwide.
