$10,000 Reward Announced in Church Fire Investigation

KANSAS CITY, Kan., June 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Bureau of Alcohol,
Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Kansas City Fire Department and
the Kansas State Fire Marshal's Office announced they are jointly offering a
reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction
of those responsible for the May 31, 2008, fire in the Youth Ministry Building
of the Rosedale Church of God (Holiness) located at 4474 Rainbow Boulevard,
Kansas City, Kan. In addition, the Kansas City Crime Stoppers are offering a
reward up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the individual(s)
responsible for this crime.

The follow-up investigation and evidence subsequently gathered at the scene
revealed the fire was intentionally set. The structure was determined to be a
total loss. 

The public is asked to call the Kansas State Crime Stoppers Hotline at
1-800-KS-CRIME (800-572-7463), ATF's toll free hotline, 1-888-ATF-FIRE
(888-283-3473) or Kansas City Crime Stoppers Hotline at 816-474-TIPS with any
information that may help identify those responsible for the fire. All the
hotlines are answered 24 hours a day and all calls remain confidential.
