Nebraska DMV Approves DriversEd.Com: Industry Leader Partners With Regional
Behind-the-Wheel Training to Provide Comprehensive Drivers Safety Course

OAKLAND, Calif., June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- As an approved DMV provider of
online drivers ed in Nebraska, DriversEd.com is making their web-based drivers
education instruction available through the DriversEd.com Drivers Safety
Course.
"Partnering with DriversEd.com brings students the convenience of taking
the classroom portion of their drivers education all online, at their own

behind-the-wheel training."
The academic portion of the DriversEd.com Drivers Safety Course is
equivalent to the 20 hour in-class theoretical portion of drivers
education. The fully interactive experience includes videos and animations
about real on-the-road scenarios. The carefully constructed curriculum is
designed to help students become safe, confident, and defensive drivers.
The behind-the-wheel portion of the course consists of 6 hours of
behind-the-training via an approved driving school.
Students that successfully complete the DrivresEd.com Drivers Safety
Course will receive a Nebraska-recognized certificate-of-completion of drivers
education. The course cost is $359 and will help students:
-- Prepare for learners permit
-- Successfully complete their drivers education course
-- Master behind-the wheel skills needed for road test
-- Include the drive test for issuance of the Provisional Operator's
Permit

Teens in Nebraska are eligible to apply for a Provisional Operator's
Permit at age 16. The first step to becoming a licensed driver is obtaining a
learners permit. Then students have the option of completing 50 hours of
driving under supervision or they can significantly shrink these hours by
completing a drivers safety course.
