"Agreement provides a highly anticipated alternative for one of
the industry's most essential areas: Independent Contractor Training
                      and Certification Courses."
AURORA, Ill. & KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(Business Wire)--
KnowledgeLink, Inc. and WeiTel announced today that they have
executed a strategic alliance agreement intended to provide a
combination of instructor-led and hands-on training and certification
courses targeted for independent contractors involved with business
services, cellular backhaul and other installation and support
technologies.

Under the terms of the agreement, both companies will unite to
provide a unique curriculum of cable industry courseware designed for
independent contractors and cable operators. The courses include
classes that combine instructor-led training with hands-on labs and
job aids for personal digital devices such as iPods and MPEG phones.
This combination of learning tools effectively enables students to
absorb practical technical concepts and apply them in the field,
increasing professionalism and customer service.

"This alliance brings together a powerful combination of
professional development training and practical field experience. We
look forward to delivering both dimensions in our offerings," stated
Justin (Jay) Junkus, President of KnowledgeLink, Inc.

The courses will be delivered in WeiTel's state-of-the-art
training facility, conveniently located in King of Prussia, PA, 30
minutes from Center City Philadelphia and less than an hour from the
Philadelphia International Airport. The 1500 square foot facility
offers numerous amenities including video and teleconferencing, a
WeiTel internet connection, a 32-person capacity classroom and lab
training area. In addition, WeiTel has invested in creating lab
stations with the latest technology and top-of-the-line products to
ensure maximum exposure for the program's participants. Although the
initial course offerings are being held in Pennsylvania, a distance
learning option via videoconferencing will be available for groups of
remote learners.

Subject matter experts from the KnowledgeLink team will be
instructing the courses. In addition to the KnowledgeLink team, WeiTel
staff will be drawn upon to provide instruction based on theory and
practical field experience. Initial offerings include a Business
Services Installation and Support Course scheduled for September.
Other KnowledgeLink courses covering RF architectures, data, and
wireless technologies will be offered on a rotating schedule. As an
integral part of the courseware, students will receive a video file
with job aid graphics and tips that can be downloaded to a personal
digital device such as an iPod or other personal video player for
on-the-job training reinforcement. Participants can also subscribe to
later versions of this file for best practices updates.

Bruce Weintraub, President and CEO of WeiTel, commented, "The
extensive knowledge, experience and capability that Jay and his team
at KnowledgeLink bring, combines with WeiTel's engineering and
deployment expertise to deliver a comprehensive training and
certification package. This will facilitate enabling services delivery
of new technology platforms such as Business Services, Cellular
Backhaul and many other triple and quad-play services. WeiTel delivers
solutions, KnowledgeLink delivers learning; this combination makes for
a powerful market motivator."
