Thompson Hine Partner Accepts First-Ever President's Award From Bar Association on Behalf of Successful Website

CLEVELAND--(Business Wire)--
James D. Robenalt, a partner in Thompson Hine LLP's Business
Litigation practice group, was one of three people to receive the
first ever President's Award from the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar
Association on June 6, 2008. The award was presented to the founders
of the Judicial Candidates Rating Coalition, who created the website
www.Judge4Yourself.com, which allows viewers to read annual ratings of
judicial candidates. Robenalt was the founding chair of the Coalition,
which he led for its first five years. The award was presented to
Robenalt and Coalition members Bruce Hennes and Howard Schulman. The
newly-founded Bar Association, a result of consolidating the Cleveland
Bar Association with the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, presented
the award to the founders at their first meeting. In addition to his
work on the website, Robenalt was recognized for his work with the
Coalition. His dedication was cited as proof that the various bar
associations in town could work together, leading in part to the
creation of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

Robenalt received his A.B. from Miami University in 1978 and his
J.D. in 1981 from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
Robenalt continues to be an active member of both the Cleveland
Metropolitan Bar Association and the Judicial Candidates Rating
Coalition. Additionally, he also acts as an instructor for National
Institute of Trial Advocacy.
