                               ANNOUNCEMENT DATES

Amlin plc announces the following planned dates in 2009 for its results and
management statements:

2 March 2009 Preliminary Results announcement for 2008

13 May 2009 Interim Management Statement (and date of 2009 Annual General
Meeting)

24 August 2009 Interim Results announcement for half year to 30 June 2009

16 November 2009 Interim Management Statement

It has already been announced that the Interim Results for the half year to 30
June 2008 will be released on 21 August 2008. The second Interim Management
Statement in 2008 will be made on 19 November 2008.

Details of analysts' meetings will be announced separately a few weeks in
advance of each set of Interim and Preliminary results.
