TULSA, OKLA.--(Business Wire)--
Digital Forensics Professionals Inc., one of the nation's leading
providers of computer investigative services, today announced the
signing of an agreement with Mimosa Tree Capital Partners, LLC that
includes a $1 million investment in the Tulsa-based firm.

"DFP has seen tremendous growth over the last five years. This
investment allows us to not only expand into new markets, but also to
empower our current and future clients to make critical decisions with
the help of our services," said Gavin W. Manes, president and director
of research for DFP.

Digital forensics is the process of investigating and retrieving
information from a variety of electronic devices, including computer
hard drives, cell phones, file servers and e-mail servers. The market
for DFP's investigative services is approximately $2.5 billion dollars
and growing due to the increased use of electronic documents in the
corporate and legal industries. The firm attributes the majority of
its growth to recent changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure,
which set guidelines for attorneys to properly handle electronic
evidence.

"Digital forensics is an exciting field with a lot of innovation
ahead," said P. Vincent LoVoi, managing partner of the investment
group. "It impacts individual rights, government security, business
strategies and our legal system."

DFP began seeking financing near the end of 2007 by meeting with a
variety of investors through The University of Tulsa's Board of
Trustees Technology Commercialization Committee. In addition, the
company participated in several venture capital conferences.

DFP plans to use the funding to expand its services to additional
metropolitan areas in the region and add to its staff this fall.

Since 2003, DFP has worked to provide a competitive advantage to
the business and legal communities by adhering to the highest
standards of quality, confidentiality and diligence in the field of
digital forensics. The firm's specialists use proven procedures to
investigate, monitor and retrieve information from electronic devices.

DFP's team of experts possesses more than 40 years of combined
experience and holds certifications from a variety of institutions,
including the American College of Forensic Examiners, the Committee on
National Security Systems and the National Information Assurance
Education and Training Program.
