ANGLO & OVERSEAS PLC

Based on a bid price valuation, the unaudited net asset value per Ordinary
Share of the Company as at 18 June 2008 was 108.83 pence including estimated
current period revenue and 106.24 pence excluding current period revenue per
AIC.

This is based on 83,103,381 Ordinary Shares, being the issued capital of
89,724,381 Ordinary Shares less 6,621,000 Ordinary Shares held in treasury.
