Pennsylvania Governor Rendell to Present First Culinary Art Award

Governor Edward G. Rendell will present a first-of-its-kind culinary award as
part of The Gettysburg Festival at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, June 20, at the
Gettysburg College Ballroom, 300 N. Washington St., Gettysburg. 

The Governor's Award for the Culinary Arts will recognize a chef for his or
her outstanding abilities as a performing artist.  This award is just one of
the more than 60 events, performances and exhibits planned for The Gettysburg
Festival, celebrating America's contributions to the arts in the areas of
music, theater, dance, visual arts, and children's theater.
