AMD Appoints Gustavo Arenas Chief Sales Officer

Industry veteran will focus on revenue growth and global
coordination and collaboration between regional sales teams and AMD's
technology partners
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced the appointment of AMD Senior Vice
President Gustavo Arenas to AMD chief sales officer, effective
immediately. Reflecting AMD's commitment to re-architect its business
for sustained profitability, Arenas' charter includes ensuring
coordination and collaboration among the company's regional sales
organizations and between those organizations and AMD's global
customers. Arenas reports to the Office of the CEO.

Latin America and the Caribbean. Arenas was previously responsible for
AMD's high-growth markets strategies. Prior to AMD, Arenas served as
corporate vice president and general manager for Motorola, where his
responsibilities spanned more than thirty years.
