Telekom Malaysia Berhad and Numix Engineering Sdn Bhd Launch 2-Way Broadband Service on NSS-6 at 95 degrees East

SINGAPORE--(Business Wire)--
SES NEW SKIES, an SES company (Paris:SESG) (LuxX:SESG), announced
today at the CommunicAsia summit and exhibition in Singapore (17 - 20.
June) that the Partnership Venture of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) and
Numix Engineering, has contracted 5 MHz of transmission capacity on
the NSS-6 satellite at 95 degrees East to launch two-way Ku-band
broadband services targeting Malaysia and other countries in South
East Asia.

   TM is Malaysia's leading next generation communications provider
and broadband champion, and offers a comprehensive range of
communication services and solutions in broadband, data and
fixed-line. Numix Engineering was established to provide local
expertise involved in the supply and system integration of high
technology products, and the provision of their associated specialised
engineering and support services to complement the high growth areas
of broadcasting (radio & TV), telecommunications (satellite &
terrestrial - fiber optics, or microwave), multimedia, defense and
other related high-tech industries in Malaysia.
