TORONTO, ONTARIO, Jun 19 (MARKET WIRE) --
Attention: Business/Financial Editors:

The Medipattern Corporation (TSX VENTURE: MKI), an award-winning
developer of computer-aided detection (CAD) medical imaging software
designed to aid physicians in making better informed biopsy decisions and
to permit a higher standard of care for the millions of patients at risk
of cancer, is pleased to announce the addition of two leading industry
professionals, Cindy Rapp and Bob Dockendorff to Medipattern's management
team. Ms. Rapp will assume the position of Vice President, Clinical
Program Development where her primary focus will be to expand and enhance
Medipattern's Continuing Medical Education (CME) training programs as
well as luminary support, clinical trials and reseller product training.
Mr. Dockendorff will take on the role of Vice President, Sales. Janet
Sterritt, Medipattern's current Vice President, Sales and Marketing, will
shift her focus to identifying new products and markets as Vice
President, Business Strategy and Marketing.

Ms. Rapp, BS, RDMS, FSDMS, FAIUM, has been involved in sonography for
approximately 25 years. An active member of the Society of Diagnostic
Medical Sonography (SDMS) and the American Institute of Ultrasound in
Medicine (AIUM), Ms. Rapp received Fellowship into both organizations in
2001. She is also actively involved with the American Registry of
Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), where she chaired the task force
for the Breast Ultrasound Registry. Ms. Rapp routinely lectures
nationally and internationally on various ultrasound topics with an
expressed emphasis in breast sonography. She has authored numerous
sonographic chapters, articles and award winning scientific exhibits. In
2000, she received the prestigious Kenneth R. Gottesfeld award of
excellence for her publication in the JDMS "Ultrasound of Abdominal Wall
Hernias". Ms. Rapp received the distinguished sonographer of the year
award from the AIUM in 2005 and will receive the Joan P. Baker Pioneer
Award at this years SDMS annual conference in October.

Mr. Dockendorff brings to Medipattern more than 26 years of sales,
industry, and leadership experience with large, small, and start-up
companies in the medical technology and imaging sector. From 1981-2003,
Mr. Dockendorff was with ATL Ultrasound and later Philips Medical Systems
where he rose through the ranks of the company to the position of Vice
President. He led a sales team that repeatedly achieved record results
and became the top sales organization in the industry. His innovative
approach drove the creation of a number of corporate and industry firsts,
including dedicated sales of refurbished equipment, a
'technology-refresh' long-term contract arrangement that provided
significant advantages to both the customer and to the equipment
supplier, flexed service contracts to recognize the needs of large users,
and introduced nationwide sales training in order to create a common
language focusing on customer needs rather than discount selling. In
2003, Mr. Dockendorff joined CIVCO Medical, a manufacturer and
distributor of products for ultrasound diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures for cardiology, radiology, and urology, where he built a
highly successful international sales team and established strategic
partnerships with ultrasound industry leaders GE, Philips, Siemens, and
Toshiba. His achievements at CIVCO led him to U-Systems, Inc., where he
was brought on board to develop a worldwide sales and marketing strategy
to introduce automated breast ultrasound to the radiology and breast
surgery market. Mr. Dockendorff's disciplined approach and leadership
skills were developed prior to his career in the medical imaging industry
as a Captain with the United States Marine Corps.

"Medipattern has been very successful in recruiting some of the top
people in the medical imaging industry and we could not be more pleased
with the additions of Cindy and Bob to the team," stated Jeff Collins,
CEO of The Medipattern Corporation. "Their experience, individual
achievements, and exceptional reputations in the industry further enhance
the Medipattern brand, as well as our ability to expand our technology
and product platform into new markets."
