Kyushu Electric shuts nuclear unit for inspection

TOKYO, June 20 (Reuters) - Japanese utility Kyushu Electric Power Co (9508.T) said on Friday its 1,180-megawatt Genkai No.4 nuclear generator automatically shut down earlier in the day for an unplanned inspection. A company spokesman said the firm is investigating the cause of the problem but there was no leakage of radioactivity to the outside environment. (Reporting by Osamu Tsukimori)
