HARARE |
HARARE (Reuters) - South African President Thabo Mbeki planned to recognize the re-election of Zimbabwean ruler Robert Mugabe, opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai said on Friday.
"I understand that President Mbeki is planning to recognize Mugabe after this election. To recognize Mugabe and expect the MDC to be part of a GNU (government of national unity) is a dream," Tsvangirai told a media conference in Harare.
