Getting Funded in Warsaw - Silicon Hill Ventures Briefs Bay Area Companies on Creative Ways to Find Growth Capital

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
On Monday, August 11, 2008, 2 - 5 pm, in the Boole Room at
Computer History Museum, Mountain View, Silicon Hill Ventures LLC will
brief interested high-tech start-ups and early-stage Bay Area
companies on the funding opportunities available to American companies
on the NewConnect exchange in Warsaw, Poland, part of the Warsaw Stock
Exchange. NewConnect is similar to London's AIM exchange or NASDAQ
with its technology focus.

Presenting will be Beata Jarosz, Management Board Member, Warsaw
Stock Exchange, Emil Stepien, Manager, NewConnect Exchange and Franz
Helbig, Partner, Silicon Hill Ventures LLC.

Start-ups looking for first or second round financing, between $1
and $5 million, should become familiar with getting listed on the
NewConnect board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Poland is doing very
well economically and more capital is available than local investment
opportunities can absorb. Sophisticated Polish investors welcome the
chance to invest in American, especially Silicon Valley, start-ups and
early-stage companies.

Attending companies will have ample opportunity to engage in Q & A
and in private meetings with managers of the Warsaw Stock Exchange and
with Silicon Hill Ventures whose partners are WSE-licensed Authorized
Advisors.

Attendance, by principals of technology companies only, is limited
to 30. To sign up, email franz@siliconhillventures.com. For more
detailed information, go to www.siliconhillventures.com.

About Warsaw Stock Exchange and NewConnect

The Warsaw Stock Exchange is the fastest-growing equity market in
Central Europe. At the end of 2007 the WSE had 345 companies listed,
including 21 foreign companies from the Netherlands, Austria, Hungary,
Germany, Ukraine, Slovakia, Czech Republic, USA, Spain and Estonia. At
the end of 2007 the total market capitalization of the WSE was almost
$100 billion.

NewConnect is intended for companies that need an injection of
capital in order to tap their potential and secure a chance to
develop. NewConnect has more liberal reporting requirements for
issuers. As a result, companies find it cheaper to raise capital here.
In 2007 NewConnect attracted 47 companies with a total capitalization
of nearly $600 million.
