NDSI Healthcare Announces Launch of Next Generation Home Care Agency Software
Solutions
nHome Complete and HomePRO available as either ASP or client server-based
solutions
NEWPORT NEWS, Va., July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- NDSI Healthcare, Inc., a market
leader in homecare agency software, today announced the launch of its next
generation versions of nHome Complete and HomePRO, the company's comprehensive
homecare agency management solutions. Both nHome Complete and HomePRO manage
all aspects of agency operation and address the needs of home care agencies
serving the Medicare, Medicaid, private duty, insurance, staffing, and hospice
markets. Reengineered on the state-of-the-art Microsoft.net platform, both
products can be deployed as either application service provider (ASP) or
client server-based solutions.
These new versions of nHome Complete and HomePRO also seamlessly integrate
Santrax telephony, thereby reducing the need for paper and manual processes.
Using toll-free phone numbers, field workers call-in and call-out from the
patient's home and input a wide range of visit data necessary for billing and
payroll processing, which is automatically populated into the system. With
both nHome Complete and HomePRO combining comprehensive electronic health
records (EHR) with telephone and web-based field management solutions,
agencies can, for the first time create a completely paperless environment,
both in the office and in the field.
nHome Complete and HomePRO manage all aspects of agency operation within a
single, easy-to-use SQL database. The systems include NDSI's full suite of
capabilities including point-of-service, clinical management, scheduling,
billing, human resource and regulatory compliance. The systems can also
interface with virtually any payroll and general ledger system. Additionally,
nHome Complete and HomePRO have the capability to integrate existing agency
business rules or processes so that the systems change how they operate to
reflect the customer's business model.
One unique feature in both products is the company's proprietary ARIES
Document System(R) that allows agencies to automate existing paper forms as
data entry screens. This means that documentation such as clinical
assessments and nursing notes can be automated, while retaining the look and
feel of the familiar paper forms, increasing staff acceptance and eliminating
duplicate data entry.
nHome Complete is geared towards larger companies and organizations, while
HomePRO is designed for the small- to mid-sized agency. Both systems can
manage multiple companies, locations and business lines, including Medicare,
Medicaid, private insurance, private duty, hospice and staffing. nHome
Complete, while engineered for larger providers is the most economical choice
in its class, while HomePRO has the distinction of being the most cost
effective comprehensive system on the market.
According to Hank Hernly, President of NDSI, "The integration of nHome
Complete and HomePRO with Santrax, the nation's largest and most robust
telephone and web-based field management solution, could revolutionize the
homecare industry by streamlining processes, reducing operational costs and
helping agencies to expedite their cash flow." Hernly continued, "The release
of the new versions of nHome Complete and HomePRO represent a major leap
forward in home care agency software. Our ability to address the data
requirements and complex operational challenges faced by home care agencies
stems from the history of our founders as certified home care providers, which
gives us a unique understanding of the importance of a highly adaptable,
easy-to-use, complete and extremely cost-effective management solution.
Unlike other agency software, which requires users to adapt their operations
to meet the requirements of the system, our flexible architecture allows the
software to be customized to fit the specific needs of our customers."
