NEW YORK, NY, Jul 22 (MARKET WIRE) --
Big Apple Worldwide, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BPWI) is pleased to announce that
its wholly owned subsidiary, Big Apple Wallcovering, has received a
second purchase order for the next phase of wallcovering installation for
the 1,572-room Hilton Hotel, Anaheim, California. This luxury hotel has
purchased another order of Big Apple Wallcovering's handmade custom
inlaid wood veneer, which will not only adorn the Hilton's grand lobby,
but will now extend into their fine dining lobby restaurant.
Big Apple's wood veneer wallcovering is a "green" product that utilizes
natural materials, inks and other non-biodegradable elements. The Hilton
Anaheim is representative of the current trend of luxury hotels being
built and renovated using "green" products more suited to, and protective
of, the environment.
The purchase order is significant considering the overall scope of the $70
million renovation project in the heart of Anaheim's most prestigious
landmarks. The hotel's designers have created soft pastels and earth tones
to complement the spirit of Southern California, in a facility with more
than 100,000 square feet of indoor meeting space with 51 conference halls
and two massive ballrooms. It stands next to the Disneyland Resort in the
middle of the prominent Anaheim Convention Center.
"Our on-sight evaluation of the Hilton Anaheim has demonstrated how much a
fine, custom-made wood veneer wallcovering can create a stunningly natural
effect. The fact that we have been able to deliver precisely what they
wanted, while being sensitive to the environment, will create additional
opportunities for us in the near future," stated Neal Jablon, CEO and
President of Big Apple Worldwide, Inc.
