EDISON, N.J., July 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Intelligroup, a global ERP
& Extended ERP Services company, specializing in ERP implementations,
upgrades,
and business process improvement, as well as testing, e-Business solutions,
and application management and support services, today announced that it has
been named on The Black Book of Outsourcing's prestigious 2008 "50 Best
Managed Global Outsourcing Vendors" list, as previously announced in The Wall
Street Journal.
Intelligroup ranked at #22 on the list, ahead of several industry
heavyweights. Intelligroup placed in the highest ten percent of all firms
judged in each survey area: C-Level Commitment, Human Capital Performance,
Corporate Direction, and Leadership Impact. Rankings are based strictly on
responses from client surveys.
For eight weeks each spring, Brown-Wilson Group -- which authors The Black
Book of Outsourcing (Wiley Publishers) -- surveys outsourcing users and
C-Level officers to gain a buy-side decision-maker perspective on the global
services industry. After a stringent external auditing process, the client
experience responses of nearly 24,000 buyer executives determined the 2008
Black Book of Outsourcing rankings.
Developed in 2004, its annual study is recognized as the single measure as
the only independent industry standard for customer satisfaction in the global
services industry. Over half of the responses are gathered from CXO-Level and
governance respondents.
These top performance suppliers emerge through ranking the fifty highest
among 4,207 global suppliers of various service lines and locations, based on
the collective client experience of 24,910 user respondents in 2008. 1,690
suppliers from 45 countries, who received at least ten verifiable client
ballots, were qualified for the 2008 Black Book 50. Vendors cannot influence
or opt out of the balloting process.
According to Scott Wilson, Partner, Brown-Wilson Group and co-author of
The Black Book of Outsourcing, "Intelligroup, ranked among the top suppliers
due to its continuous focus on customer satisfaction in ERP and Extended ERP
services, and successfully engage and manage outsourcing relationships as
recognized by their actual clients."
"Intelligroup is especially pleased to be recognized by The Black Book of
Outsourcing given the emphasis placed on positive client feedback," said
Pankit Desai, Senior Vice President of Sales for Intelligroup. "Providing the
highest level of services and continued value to our customers is of paramount

The fifth annual Black Book survey for Brown-Wilson Group's "50
Best-Managed Global Outsourcing Vendors" was distributed electronically to
customers, employees, buyers, contractors and users world-wide and available
at www.theblackbookofoutsourcing.com. In March, surveys were sent to the
nearly 30,000 outsourcing decision makers who were verified in the previous
surveys, followed by 400,000 additional invitations sent to individuals in
corporations, businesses, organizations and government agencies who use, offer
and are employed in outsourcing services or pre-registered for the survey on
the Black Book website. Survey entry access codes were available only one
time per outsourced function. They survey closed on May 12, 2008. The 26
key performance indicators of vendor satisfaction with supplier leadership are
posed with a scoring basis of 0 to 10 (0 = deal breaking dissatisfaction and
10 = overwhelmingly exceeded expectations) per criteria. Additionally, 18 key
performance indicators in operational excellence are also balloted for later
study and custom reporting throughout 2008 for outsourcing clients, buyers,
prospective users, analyst, consultants, media and investors.
