ARDEN, NC, Jul 22 (MARKET WIRE) --
Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HISU) announced
that the Company has received positive preliminary results from an
evaluation of the Cyber Tracker CT-150 installed on a Southeastern U.S.
county vehicle recently. County representatives installed the Company's
low cost solution for standard GPS tracking applications on one of its
trucks and observed the vehicle for two days.

During the evaluation, county officials observed the vehicle had been
driven 84 miles and sat idling for five hours. This particular idling
truck consumed 0.8 gallons of fuel each hour. That equates to
approximately $3,400 in wasted fuel annually as well as 60 miles of
engine wear for every hour the vehicle sits at idle. Additionally,
commercial vehicles burning diesel fuel at idle release 2.5 times the
emissions into the atmosphere as a gallon of fuel on the road. The county
can now use the information provided by the CT-150 to make new policies
governing the idling of vehicles to reduce fuel consumption, save money,
increase employee efficiency and improve overall productivity.

"This was a very successful test for the CT-150. The county
representatives were surprised by the results. They were able to
immediately see how the vehicle was using energy, and now they can take
steps to rectify that situation. It also demonstrates the quick ROI for
the purchasing organization. This is just what this device was designed
to do, and it did it with exceptional proficiency," stated Fred Wicks,
CEO and President of Homeland Integrated Security Systems Inc.

Several states already have anti-idling laws in effect, which limit
vehicles over 10,000 pounds from idling for more than five minutes per
hour.
