L-1 Identity Solutions Appoints New President of Information Technology
Services Division

STAMFORD, Conn., July 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- L-1 Identity Solutions,
Inc. (NYSE: ID), a leading provider of identity solutions and services today
announced the appointment of Pete Stea as President of the Information
Technology Services Division, formerly Advanced Concepts, Inc. (ACI). Pete
has over 40 years of experience as a senior executive, program manager and
technologist. The Information Technology Services Division of L-1 provides
information technology and network security solutions, and systems engineering
and software development services to the Intelligence Community and Department
of Defense.
Pete replaces President and former Co-founder of ACI John Register who
left L-1 Identity Solutions to pursue other interests.
For the last 12 years, Pete served as a Vice President at ACI where he was
responsible for the identification, award and program management of complex
enterprise information technology programs. He is widely recognized for his
leadership in information assurance, systems administration, and network
design and program management.

Pete began his career with the Naval Security Group (NSG) where he spent
eight years at various locations in the United States and Far East. After his
tours with the NSG, he accepted a position with Sperry Systems Management
(later Unisys) where he served as a senior program manager for 19 years.
During this tenure, his responsibilities included the management and technical
guidance of integrated enterprise network management programs; technical
oversight of a large scale network operations center and the design of state
of the art communication systems for the U.S. Government. He holds a Bachelor
of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
