ITSI Signs Mentor-Protege Agreement With RORE, Inc.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--(Business Wire)-- Innovative Technical Solutions, Inc. (ITSI) today announced a mentor-protege agreement between ITSI and RORE, Inc. (RORE), under the Small Business Administration (SBA) Mentor-Protege program. The agreement was approved and awarded through the San Diego, California office. Founded in 2003 by Dr. Gita Murthy, RORE is a woman and minority-owned, 8(a) certified small disadvantaged business headquartered in San Diego, California. RORE is an engineering firm and a licensed contractor (General and Hazardous) that provides site assessments, engineering design, environmental remediation, construction management, energy conservation and geotechnical services. The mentor-protege agreement is for one year, but can be renewed for subsequent years with approval by the SBA. The purpose of the agreement is to enhance the development of the Protege and to encourage the Mentor to provide various forms of assistance to eligible 8(a) participants to ensure enhanced contracting opportunity and overall financial viability. In its past, ITSI has received help from large businesses under the SBA Mentor-Protege program. We have been a long proponent of helping small businesses. ITSI has assisted other small businesses to enter the federal market by providing management assistance and contract opportunities; however, this is our first formal initiative under the SBA Program.
