The Dixie Group to Broadcast Its Second Quarter 2008 Conference Call Live on the Internet

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.--(Business Wire)--
The Dixie Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:DXYN) today announced that it will
provide an online Web simulcast of its second quarter 2008 conference
call on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. The Company will release its results
for the second quarter and six months ended June 28, 2008, before the
market opens on August 5.

   The live broadcast of The Dixie Group's conference call will begin
at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time on August 5. An online replay will be
available approximately two hours following the conclusion of the live
broadcast and will continue for 30 days. A link to these events can be
