Director's Shareholding

Avacta Group plc (the "Company") announces that it has received notification
that Alastair Smith, a director of the Company, has today sold 601,389 ordinary
shares of 0.1p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"),
representing 0.07% of the issued share capital of the Company, to his SIPP at a
price of 3.5 pence per share. Following this transaction, Alastair Smith
remains beneficially interested in 49,617,468 Ordinary Shares, representing
6.03% of the issued share capital of the Company.
