SAN DIEGO, CA, Jul 22 (MARKET WIRE) --
Networld Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of value-added information
technology (IT) consulting and services, today announced that
California's Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District (SMMUSD) has
agreed to a one-year contract extension.

The agreement calls for Networld Solutions to continue to provide IT
planning and project management services that will drive education
technology innovation across the award-winning district's 10 elementary
schools, three middle schools and three high schools, as well as an
alternative K-8 school and a district-wide pre-school program.

According to Virginia Hyatt, director of procurement, contracts and
construction for Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, Networld
Solutions played a crucial role in spearheading an important bid for wide
area network (WAN)/local area network (LAN) technology and services, for
which the district recently awarded a contract to AT&T.

"Networld Solutions came in and quickly evaluated our technology needs and
our ability to support IT growth through our Education Technology Plan,
and their help with important initiatives such as the WAN/LAN bid has been
extremely valuable," Hyatt said. "We are pleased to renew the contract as
we move forward with technology innovations that set the stage for
continued success in our classrooms."

Plans are in place for Networld Solutions to support SMMUSD efforts for
enhancing district- and campus-wide networks, and adding wireless
networking and Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VOIP) systems to save costs
and facilitate communication. Networld Solutions will provide the district
with expert guidance and project management services as these initiatives
are put in place.

"We are very pleased to extend the excellent partnership that we have with
SMMUSD," said Darryl Vidal, vice president of Networld Solutions, Inc.
"Through use of our services, the district has demonstrated its dedication
to providing teachers and students with the best technology tools and
resources available."

Networld Solutions first began its partnership with SMMUSD in 2007,
starting with a technology infrastructure assessment to determine the
district's ability to support ongoing improvements over a five-year
period, and to address the technology component of Measure BB for school
safety and repair. From there, Networld Solutions developed a strategic
vision map and tactical plan to help SMMUSD achieve its technology goals.
