RenewData was also ranked as a Top Provider in five other service provider
categories including Capacity, Law Firm Rankings, Corporate Rankings,
Preservation, and Processing. The survey report, which is conducted yearly by
Socha Consulting LLC and Gelbmann & Associates, examines the state of
electronic discovery, compares this year's results with results from the
preceding five years, and makes projections for 2008 through 2010. Results of
the survey are based on data which is gathered from electronic discovery
services providers, law firms, and corporations through interviews, research
findings, and a self-paced survey spreadsheet.
Service providers are ranked based on a set of criteria including;
experience and reputation, capacity, types of services, software usage, law
firm rankings, corporate rankings, and revenue estimates. Final results are
based on a weighted combination of the criteria results. The top providers are
listed in alphabetical order in the report, without indication of individual
ranking within the group.
"We are very proud of our achievement of being ranked a "Top Provider" for
the fourth year in a row and we want to thank our clients and partners without
whom this would not be possible," said Steven Horan, RenewData CEO. "The
Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey is certainly the leading
e-discovery industry research report and this notable ranking is proof that
our commitment to our clients has been successful."
The 2006 Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey is an independent
survey conducted by two independent consultants, George Socha and Tom
Gelbmann. The full Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey may be purchased
