Marquiss Wind Power Acquires Cirrus Technologies Inc.; Cirrus Founder John Roskey Joins Marquiss as CTO

FOLSOM, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Marquiss Wind Power, an innovator in developing and deploying wind
turbine technology, announced today that it has completed the
acquisition of the assets of Cirrus Technologies Inc. of Carson City,
Nev. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Cirrus Technologies holds seven patents on technologies related to
wind energy. Turbines based on Cirrus Technologies' patents have been
installed and tested at the Desert Research Institute and for a major
utility.

As part of the acquisition, Cirrus founder, John Roskey, will join
Marquiss as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Roskey's experience includes
working at Martin Marietta Aerospace on the Space Shuttle West Coast
launch facilities and serving as a liaison between contractors and the
U.S. Air Force. While running Cirrus, Mr. Roskey won several grants
from the Department of Energy and worked with Battelle and Washington
State University.

in driving future product development," Mr. Misso said.
