Atlas Energy Resources, LLC Announces Record Distribution of $0.61 Per Common Unit for the Second Quarter 2008

PITTSBURGH, Pa.--(Business Wire)--
Atlas Energy Resources, LLC (NYSE:ATN) reported today that it has
declared its record quarterly cash distribution for the second quarter
2008 of $0.61 per common unit. This $0.61 per common unit distribution
represents a $0.02 increase, or 3.4% increase, over the first quarter
2008 distribution of $0.59 per common unit, as well as a 42% increase
from the second quarter 2007 distribution of $0.43 per common unit.
The distribution is payable Thursday, August 14, 2008 to holders of
record as of Wednesday, August 6, 2008.
