WHAT Limbs of Love in Houston, TX will be fitting a prosthetic leg
to amputee Kaur Balbir, who lost her leg due to complications
of circulatory issues which began in 2000. Frustrated and
desperate without healthcare insurance due to her work closing
down, Mrs. Balbir purchased a used limb for $40 on eBay. Later
when she realized the impossibility of that limb ever fitting,
she donated the useless leg to the Limbs of Love charity to
help others. Mrs. Kaur will receive her new limb for the first
time and will literally leave her appointment walking on her
        new leg.

WHO Limbs of Love was founded in 2006 by Joe Sansone, CEO of the
Amputee and Prosthetic Center of Houston. We are a charitable
organization whose mission is to provide limbs to those
patients in Houston and across Texas that have lost a limb but
do not have the resources to pay for a prosthetic device.

WHEN Tuesday, July 29th, 2008
       10:15 a.m.

WHERE The prosthetic limb will be delivered on site at:

             The Amputee and Prosthetic Center
             840 FM 1960 West #5 (Near I 45)
             Houston TX 77090
             (713) 747-7647

Visual opportunities will be available for TV and
photographers as this patient receives her limb and
walks for the first time since 2006.

WHY While the government goes to great lengths to ensure that our
American heroes returning from active duty in Iraq and
Afghanistan as amputees are taken care of, may hundreds of
amputees without healthcare coverage are left behind. The
Limbs of Love organization provides limbs to those patients
who otherwise would not be able to afford a prosthetic device.
