Buddha Tao Brings World-Class Asian Dining to Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY--(Business Wire)--
Buddha Tao is Oklahoma City's only chic Pan-Asian restaurant, bar
and lounge that will feature contemporary Asian cuisine and
world-class sushi. The menu at Buddha Tao includes both traditional
and unique sushi preparations as well as succulent appetizers,
sensational soups, salads, noodle and rice bowls, a robata grill, and
a diverse selection of hot entrees from the kitchen. Buddha Tao has
something for everyone. Guests can enjoy the Buddha Tao dining
experience in the dining room, at the sushi bar or upstairs in the
Opium Lounge. The restaurant will also focus on specialty martinis;
fine wines; Oklahoma's largest variety of sake; the customary high-end
spirits and import and domestic beer selections. The 10,000 plus
square foot Buddha Tao is located at 2737 West Memorial Road near
Quail Springs Mall and is scheduled to open in late-July in the
building formerly occupied by Don Pablo's.

The interior and exterior are Zen-Master chic and have undergone
an extensive cosmetic renovation with warm colors and rich fabrics and
amazing accent pieces from across Asia with a little twist of
contemporary. The restaurant will open for lunch, happy hour and
dinner and then will "morph" into North Oklahoma City's only
late-night ultra lounge. The upstairs bar, called Opium Lounge, will
offer comfortable seating, low tables, candlelight and DJ driven music
that will make Buddha Tao a long awaited addition to Oklahoma City
dining and nightlife options. Food will be served on most nights until
close. The restaurant also has a private dining room and private bar
that is ideal for business meetings, parties or receptions.
Additionally, an outdoor courtyard with seating for nearly 50 guests
has been added to the building.

The main restaurant and bar will be open seven days a week for
lunch beginning at 11 a.m. Closing time will be 2 a.m. on most
evenings. Edgy happy hour music will allow for conversation with
emphasis on urban beats and coffeehouse rock. Buddha Tao will feature
local, regional and national DJ's on most nights. Buddha Tao will have
a 21+ age restriction on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights after 10
pm.

Buddha Tao is owned by entrepreneur Tony R. Henry. Mr. Henry is
also the owner of Velvet Rope Entertainment that includes investments
in SKKYBAR Ultra Lounge in Oklahoma City; and JEWEL; Rave Review
