Alliance for Abundant Food and Energy to Support Agriculture's Ability to
Sustainably Meet Global Food and Energy Needs

In the midst of global energy and food crises, leading companies representing
the entire agricultural value chain will join together this week to raise the
level of debate over how needs for food and fuel can be met. On Thursday,
July 24, the Archer Daniels Midland Company, DuPont, John Deere, Monsanto and
the Renewable Fuels Association will launch the Alliance for Abundant Food and
Energy, to promote their belief that through innovation, agriculture can
sustainably meet the growing global demand for food and energy, and to
encourage Congress, the President and world leaders to support agricultural
innovation globally.
